Nick King’s career in architectural visualisation began in the late 1990s. In the early days, Nick worked with architects to explore the potential of new technologies. Later, as the field of architectural visualisation emerged in its own right, Nick had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s early innovators and leading architectural practices.  This included the late Alan Davidson, who was an inspiration and mentor. Alan encouraged his studio artists to combine traditional architectural illustration techniques and architectural photography with advancements in 3D and digital illustration software, convincing the architectural community to push boundaries and take the industry to a new level. After more than ten years of working in London, Nick relocated to Australia in 2008, initially working with local studios before founding his own.

Today, through Tilt Projects, Nick continues to create still and moving images for a wide range of clients, drawing on a breadth of experience yet keeping an eye on new developments as the field of architectural visualisation continues to evolve.
